Arch of Teaching (AT)

The AT Program provides academic and professional development courses and activities to help students prepare and explore different careers in education, with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion, prior to enrolling in college while enhancing their writing skills and abilities.

The following summer courses are offered in the AT Program: Mathematics, English Composition, Creative Writing, Language & Literacy, Special Education and Sign Language. Time management, note taking and study skills will also be offered this summer, in addition to financial aid and admissions college preparatory and exploring career options in education.

The AT students also participate in educational, cultural and recreational activities on- and off-campus, such as roller-skating, basketball, swimming,volleyball, soccer and leadership training.

In collaboration with the UW Oshkosh College of Education and Human Services (COEHS), the previous summer programs participants are invited back for the following year for a spring campus visit to further support and encourage students to pursue a post-secondary education.
